Myers-Briggs Result and Affirmation

I tested as an INFP! (Introvert(78%)  iNtuitive(38%)  Feeling(59%)  Perceiving(3%))

I had a little bit of an identity crisis with this test because while I have always tested as an INFP, the first time I took the test today, I tested as an INFJ. I read the INFJ description and it just didn't really feel right, and my judging percentage was 1% anyway, so I took a few other tests and got INFP on all of them. I took another look at the initial test and realized that I had clicked 'uncertain' for many of the questions (which we were specifically told not to do but what can I say? I'm indecisive...). I thought very carefully about the questions that I said I was uncertain about and came out as an INFP.

There are definitely some aspects of an INFJ personality that fit me, but some do not at all (such as decisiveness, clearly). However, I identify with the INFP personality on almost all levels. I'm an idealist and perfectionist; even if I try to be pessimistic to save myself the pain of disappointment, in the end, I'm idealistic. I have high standards for myself, and I have trouble if I don't live up to those standards. I am always inclined to avoid conflict and often go out of my way to do so. I have strong beliefs in human values and have trouble when others don't share the same values. I experience strong emotions that I have trouble repressing. While I like being around people at times, I always need to recharge alone, and I get very stressed if I don't have that recharge time. Like most INFPs, I believe the world can be a better place, and that is a focus of my life.

Emma has always marched to the beat of her own drum! She has never been one to be swayed by the passing whims of those around her. She values and appreciates the little bits of beauty in everyday things and has always possessed a vivid imagination in which to enjoy those things that delight her. She is very perceptive and has a very logical mind that she uses well in developing strong and realistic insights into complex situations. She always works hard and produces quality work, whether at school, in music, or baking her latest creation.

    The INFP type seems very accurate to your personality! I can especially see the INFP characteristics evident in your perfectionist nature and your tendency to see the best in others. You're lucky to be the same type as Luna Lovegood, that's quite the accomplishment.

Much Ado About Nothing Discussion

Shakespeare's comedy Much Ado About Nothing is indeed, initially about nothing. The first scene begins after the end of a 'small war' between brothers Don John and Don Pedro, which resulted in nothing and very few losses. All involved in the war are headed to the home of Leonato, where his daughter Hero and his niece Beatrice also live. The first scene is a lot of exposition about characters; it especially shows the relationship between Beatrice and one of Don Pedro's officers Benedick. Beatrice and Benedick exchange jabs such as "I wonder that you still be talking, Signior Benedick, nobody marks you" (1.1.114-5). This relationship is set up in contrast to the attraction between Hero and Claudio, another officer of Don Pedro. Claudio falls in love at first sight with Hero, a love which Benedick mocks. Antigone Quote

This quote illustrates a major conflict in Antigone ; the conflict between the law of human rulers and the 'unwritten, unalterable' laws of the gods.
